She posted into the void of the twitterverse, knowing millions of eyes were there, knowing that only a few would see. Lost in the sea of voices, all yearning to be heard. Together they were all alone. #PortfolioDay

@AmalasRosa People are small minded and stupid sometimes...or a lot of the times.

Did the world continue its relentless pace above? Did people continue to go to work, to buy and sell, love, laugh, cry and die, all while he was trapped, alone? Did they remember him? Did they know he was still there, suffering? Did they care?

It was the laughter that broke his heart as he watched and listened from the shadows. The warm light flowed from the building while the night's chill crept into his bones. He had once been warm like they were inside that home...safe and loved. How he missed it...missed them.

They sung to him, a melody of hope and sorrow. Their light flickered in tune, mesmerizing. He had come out for a walk to think things over, looking for an answer to the question of why he was here...did his life even matter. “It does,” they sung to him, every life does.
