"We call it Yowunas Maias, and it lies to the east of the globe (as we’ve mapped it). The landmass and its extended archipelagos hang just above the southernmost pole. It’s dry, arid and rocky; a result of the heat of its seasons."

You follow its colossal back; in many ways, an island.
Birds and beasts upon the verdant spine create an ecosystem.
It leads you down a river - past an estuary - and out to sea.
When you dip beneath - to swim - you find that you can breathe.

Then, they turn and file t'ward The Deity.
It rises from the lake with fitful shakes of its gigantic mass.
You wait.
