Almost binned this image after disappointing post-processing results. Gave it one last attempt using a tutorial by @AstroBackyard; glad I didn't give up as it's an improvement on my previous attempts at M42!

Shock horror, the clouds rolled in as soon as I got to my location! Grabbed a quick snap of the church then headed home :(

Need to stop rushing post-processing, because that last attempt was horrific! I'll delete it & pretend it never happened. Happier with this.

Thought I was finally getting a clear night with no moon then the mist and light pollution ruined my fun :(
