Given the fact that this town normally gets invaded by monsters every time you come back to it, the town name itself is fitting to the point where it’s not even funny.

The Incarnus from the Joker series seems to possess more than one forks than the ones that were originally presented in J1 & J2. Joker 3 claims that the new Incarnus monsters are actually the same monsters prior to.

So, this could possibly mean that their true form is unknown.

Sellma from DQ9 is normally an assistant barmaid in Quester’s Rest.

However, Quest 139 states that she’s secretly part of an agency known as Sinnicate of Pubs, Inns and Taverns who is tasked to track down criminal syndicates.

Completing this quest makes her playable.

In Dragon Quest 7, the Well Wisher vocation apparently lets you have the chance to learn the Underpants Dance.

Which could possibly mean that these monsters are definitely wearing some underpants down there or has possession of some for such a moment.

Cloud’s attire in Kingdom Hearts can be a loose reference to that of Vincent Valentine. The red cape, claw gauntlet, the unnecessary amount of belts, the Chaos Wing and the fact that Cloud covers his entire mouth with the cape.

All he’s missing is more red clothing and a gun.

Vince Vanquish from DQ11 fights for the sake of making money for his home’s orphanage.

His ambition is based off the real-life story of a priest named Sergio Gutiérrez Benítez (Fray Tormenta), who supported the orphanage he directed as a luchador for 23 years straight.

Terry’s Wonderland seems to fix that issue, but whether this design would be used going forward is all up to Square Enix at this point.
