The story of Dragon Quest Builders is the end result of what happens when the Hero from Dragon Quest 1 agrees to Dragonlord’s offer of ruling half of the world.
Because of this, DQ1’s Hero is currently the first (and only) Hero who became a villain in a spin-off series.

The Prince is a layabout who wants to have fun than do work.

@Annoyaceentry Seems like you’re talking about the Hero’s Windbreaker. If you’re familiar with the Roc Feather from Zelda Games, it allows users to make long jumps over steep gaps.
In terms of flying via magic however, The Prince of Cannock is the only person in the party that can use Zoom.
