It’s simply moments like these that Horikoshi purposefully rejected doing when it comes to Ocha and even said he created Toga specifically for her on HER premise and developed Ochako to match Toga. So that she can have her own path without Izuku.

The look on Izuku’s face when Katsuki appears is very telling.. and this would be considered one of the most romantic moments in this manga if only Katsuki was a girl. But he isn’t. The shine is back in Izuku’s eyes, his face is filled with hope…hope he had lost a while ago.

I always loved paying attention to little details in MHA. And I want to try and explain why exactly I trust Horikoshi as a writer so much by talking about one of my favorite moments in the whole manga and that is Katsuki’s mysterious letter.

I always found the cover for chapter 348 strange. Ochako looking away, like she’s on her own now, Izuku looking at us, covered in green and ORANGE, the whole cover being green and orange, Katsuki’s narration about Izuku being oblivious, the chapter being called UNREQUITED+
