@MisterJoeLawn Reference? 🤔 Hmm, well. A friend of mine drew my profile picture and I’ve drawn my character a couple of times. I don’t particularly have a reference, I just play with my knowledge of Nomura’s style to draw me. Though I’m not sure if that answers your question?

In an attempt to crawl out of a creative slump, I drew myself in Nomura’s style and colored digitally. And purposely chose the pose to then turn it into a character icon.

I’d just like to say that Nomura is actually my all-time favorite artist. Ever since I arrived out of the womb, his art style has entranced me and actually inspired me to pursue art. Every piece of his blows me away, so you best expect when he got a new one I am all over it.
