@wootjay I don't TEND to ink smoke/steam/clouds. The brush I use in Clip Studio is "India Ink > Light running ink", I just do overlapping swirlies and the Blend tool when I want it to fade out cleanly. It gets some real nice texture and transparency IMO.

@meganshepp When I start feeling sad about my art, what really helps is looking at my old drawings and seeing how much I've improved. When I see how far my practice has taken me, it really inspires me to keep going to see how much better I'll be in a year or two. (See: my extremely old art)

@Alakotila Sombulus (https://t.co/FEmFUnZR8V) is gonna be 11 in May! What's worked for me is having other creators who I can bounce various plot ideas off of, but also who understand my work style is pretty flexible and I revise things as I go a lot.
