the two classic games i get the itch for the most would be 1993 doom or any metal slug game (i swear metal slug anthology is one of my most played wii games i have lol)

i had to think really REALLY hard for this one, and ig i'll go for variety so my pick is Kid Icarus: Uprising.

if we're going solely gameplay wise here, uprising has so much

-on-rail shooting
-solid melee/ranged combat ground levels
-exploration
-excellent level design
