The first panel is pretty much how a movie shot is read, it's one way you can use to read the image, but mostly I focused on the diagonal formed by the shape and lighting of Kairi's body. The second panel is a different kind of composition you can use.

So first some basic knowledge on composition. If we're talking about western comics, this is how your eye is going to read the page as a whole. Try to keep that in mind as you position your elements, both drawing and text.
