It’s crazy how a character who looks like this can be so timeless and iconic, I love it.

Mario isn’t your standard gritty shooter guy, anime JRPG protagonist or animal mascot with attitude, he’s just a chubby Italian plumber man with a mustache and yet it works.

He stands out.

I can’t even imagine to think of a timeline of where Nintendo got the rights to make a Popeye game or if Mario bombed in the 80s and became a product of its time.

Yeah, I don’t like Lola’s new design.

There’s nothing wrong with a cute and attractive appearance but the only issue with 96’ Lola is that she basically had no personality other then “skilled hottie”.

Why didn’t they just take inspiration from her LTS design instead?
