I rarely go for adult cartoons, yet @adultswim's Ballmastrz 9009 is my unexpected new fave show for its:

- Futuristic parody sport premise
- Constant anime parody
- Gaz Digzy is a boss and uses a Boston Crab outta nowhere
- Character growth + optimism
- Somehow ED ASNER is in it

Transformers Animated: Love it as much as Beast Wars and it had more loose ends.
G.I. Joe Renegades: Only time I've cared for the franchise.
Wishfart: Such genuine friendship. Our chemistry: instanteous.
Grossology: I NEVER GOT MY LAB RAT ORIGIN STORY.

I appreciate genuine efforts to audition and give visiblity to groups long overlooked in anime's casting process. The likes of @Funimation with My Hero Academia & DBSuper, @NYAV_Post with Tokyo Godfathers & @SoundCadence with Kemono Friends give me hope other studios will follow.

I battled the evil Insectiva in Grossology and she recently played my Auntie Yaga in Mysticons #29daysofblackvoiceactors

My sidequest remains "Normalize Black Actors Voicing Raccoons". A well-meaning casting director proudly told me they once looked up all the audition talent to make sure a black VA wasn't cast on an animated raccoon.

@Matt_The_Ferg Uncertain young me desperately needed that consideration when I had a hard time getting a shot from anyone at all. Now in Matt's shows and many others, I literally get to audition for and play whatever. This is what I hope to see for talents across the board.
