One thing I really appreciate is how the artists take advantage of the color theming really makes each issue feel really distinct.
Ex. Mag is an awesome anthology that is based on a theme vol 1 was Cyberpunk, issue 2 was Paranormal Romance, issue 3 Dark Fantasy and issue 4 Mecha.
Man I really slept on how solid this was considering it technically came out last year (recently bought the Blu-ray due to a friend highly recommending it).
Sazan and Comet Girl was a super charming read really gave me vibes of lost 80s OVA. It also help this manga is in full color and it's gorgeous.
Figured I'd end the year posting on some things I've enjoyed this year.
