hanging out with Ciorbă the street cat and reading GRAVITY’S RAINBOW, ask me anything https://t.co/W6uVMmJWem
Finally got a chance to sit down to read the digital edition of HEAT by Jean Wei, published by PEOW, which is a lovely, tender piece of comics. A wonderfully low-key, loving piece of comics with gorgeous cartooning. I loved it.
Rosemary Valero-O’Connnell’s GOLDEN RECORD published by Silver Sprocket is a wonder. @hirosemaryhello is one of my favorite cartoonists, and she brings such a gorgeous care to this book—her art and poetry both feel viscerally, intensely alive in the most beautifully intimate way.
I loved the first volume of J. Marshall Smith's SOLACE COUNTY, and now he's doing a Kickstarter for a second volume, which ends this week. I heartily, strongly recommend that you get on this one; Smith's cartooning is infinitely charming and gorgeous.

Hmm. Which other notable cartoonists employ this type of diagrammatic approach to the comics page? (I’ve never actually read Ware but I know that’s very much his thing)
I still have to read the digital books I bought, but I no longer have any print PEOW books to read, which feels weird. PEOW will always be one of my absolute favorite publishers, and their slate has been formative to who I am as a reader. Going to miss them deeply and dearly.
Really love the color edition of LUCKY PENNY that came out a couple of months ago. @ananthhirsh and Ota crafted an incredibly charming cast of characters with a really strong grasp of tone (and escalation thereof), complimented and complemented by @IntroSpectres’ gorgeous colors.
