today was rough and i didnt get nearly as much done as i wanted to, but i will take the little victory of being VERY happy with this shading so far

Trying to improve my rendering process and I realized how much I was neglecting the overall form. I should be laying down general shadows and using selections to refine the shadow, not shade each muscle individually. VERY happy with how the newer one is coming together!!

Happy with the shading but not too happy with the color/overlay layers. Think that's the next thing to focus on!

First shading pass! Tried to keep the strokes simple and mimic how I usually shade. There's room for improvement but I did learn how to better use my two shades to make more realistic shadows!
