@SHelmigh I just finished a master's in concept art and I tried to approach different styles for some projects in it (I'm working on more realistic stuff ATM, but cartoon-ish 2D animation styles were really interesting to work on).

Just wrapped up this character design project I did for my master's degree in concept art, and it's going straight to my portfolio. There's celtic folklore, there's music, there are characters, props, creepy environments and backgrounds, and quite a few months of work into it!

The problem with writing "2D animation" at a project pitch for class is that it's only technical, but you come to a point where you say "I'd actually love to see this animated".
