Matt becomes good friends with Tai, but also develops a rivalry with him, leading to some internal conflict. Matt is more protective and concerned about the group, sometimes to the point of being violently overbearing, causing more conflict compared to Tai's headstrong strategy.

Matt starts out as a secretive loner with a cool demeanor. He is mature, thoughtful and level-headed, and more likely to think things through than charge head on. He is a deeply caring person who will do anything for a friend, and is very protective of his loved ones. #Digimon

Tai and Agumon match well in a way that they act rather brashly & hot-headedly when their friends are in danger, Agumon is more the cautious one,even if Tai disregards his advice.They joke around with each other a lot, go through many trials & their trust in each other is evident

Tai became more mature, grounded, cunning, and willing to put himself in danger before others. He often leads by example rather than by simply giving orders, and understanding which of his friends to give the reigns to when he knows he cannot win by his strength alone. #Digimon

Kari is very close to Tai and hero-worships him for his kindness and strength well into adolescence. Tai and Kari have a very close sibling bond. It is lovely to see how caring he is about Kari and does everything he can to protect her from any danger. #Digimon #TaiKamiya
