what media has inspired you in art, specifically your art style?
i'll start, can be of any fictional media; cartoon/anime, comic/manga, game, anything
The theme seemed to be favorite fighting game characters so I didn't wanna "cheat".
Only changes would be...
Capcom -> Sonia Strumm
Namco -> Bravoman

This is not a direct redesign, rather I collected what I've learned over the years and used to revisit an idea that while familiar to those who know his name will still notice the changes that fully modernize him to be on-par to newer designs.
Before Glace, there was once another furry hero's tale to be told to the world. A design that started it all, revitalized to a new era/decade though it's uses in commercialized media will be up for debate. Perhaps remaining a fan character to an existing franchise for now.
Have a new 2020 Wadanohara illustration for this "reboot" I nabbed from the website (it's actually more of a Director's Cut from what I'm gather).
I've reached the 10th year anniversary... of this Genesis Sonic-styled Yoshi sprite so I redone it from scratch to see if I could do better. #pixelart
Wadanohara from the story game "Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea" by Deep-Sea Prisoner!
This pixel art was done using the coloring and shading style to the original game's graphics.
