That said, it was a really fun surprise when I found out I got a 5 out of 5 for my score later that summer. It really did a lot for making me feel like I was doing something right and making growth. def boosted my confidence to encourage me continue building my skills

My teacher was interested to see how things were gonna play out too since it was the first time she had a student do digital artwork in her class, she even worried that the people criticizing my portfolio might be too “traditionalist” and thus be more critical of mine than others

Making these I think really marked the beginning of my arts transformation into what it is now and I definitely was taking a leap of faith making digital media the focus of my portfolio given I’d only been doing digital art for little over a year at that point

Figured I’d do a throwback Thursday art post while I finish some others but was recently looking through old files and came across a series I did for my AP art portfolio my senior year of High School
