While I'm thinking on the Rance series, I've gotta mention Patton. I love how he went from a boorish, sneering antagonist in Rance III (1991), to having a full redemption arc to the point of becoming the good-natured deuteragonist of Rance IX (2014). Great character writing.

It's funny that some are scrambling to assume this YU-NO text was added by the translation because "Japan doesn't mention gays in their media."

It's funnier that they don't know the context of this scene is actually kinda homophobic. Otherwise they'd probably be happy with it.
