For checking here, you get a little bonus!
Enjoy this little baby photo of the starters, too.~
Matidto's design was slowly refined with continued research; mostly pertaining to the motifs used on his rather than the structure itself. The main inspirations are the outfits worn for the Sagayan war dance, and the geometric patterns of Inaul (woven cloth of the Maguindanaon)++
Much like Bonifacio's Bolo, Talibong has had a lot of changes over the years.
The earlier designs were the result of sticking too much to one or two references and nothing else. The coat /was/ mentioned in writing, but the patterns were from a different group entirely.

As we gather new resources, the project is constantly evolving, both in concept and character design.
Bonifacio, for one, has gone through five iterations over the project's 8-year period. And perhaps there's a new one to come this year as well..
"You can entrust me with whatever you want, kapitan. I'll follow your word until the end."
From his namesake's tragic fate, to the uncertainty of his own existence, Bonifacio's Bolo has a complicated history. But perhaps he can find closure as he works with the babaylan...
Every good organization needs a good mascot! Meet Sari! 🐔
A deity in their own right, this rainbow-colored bird of fortune assists Eventide Assembly with historical fact-checks. The cute size is the result of splitting themselves into multiple copies to accompany each babaylan.
Talibong accompanied some people home from Komiket, were you one of the lucky ones to pick him up?
Maybe he'll make a reappearance in a future event.. or perhaps someone else will show up to partner up with new babaylan? 🤔
A small analysis on the design of the starter Talim regarding their emblem placement on their arm guards. It was actually unintentional at first.
The babaylan perhaps? Anyway, webcomic is still in progress but will hopefully be released on June this year!
