Gonna get weird, but one of my biggest inspirations is Yutaka Nakamura. His stuff has been following me from day 1. Between G Gundam, FMA 2003, Bebop, even Cooler’s Revenge. The man just understands every principle of animation and then some. Also my impact frames came from him.

Jeff Matsuda’s style was around for me back in the days of Jackie Chan adventures. It was one of the first shows I remember really being big fan of as a kid and as a teen I routinely rewatched The Batman. I loved how wild and angular his designs got. His Joker design is goated.

Bruce Timm’s another HUGE one. Especially in the way I tend to draw women. His style has a simple but refined way of drawing characters that’s super animation friendly, but also pretty slick.
