Maybe by the end of next week I can show a bit more; once the patches of grass and weeds are added to the ground (sorely missing from this screenshot).
And also finish the adjustments to the distance fogs to help add more depth.
Sorry it's taking so long. I've wanted to wait until things are looking good enough before showing more of it.
Some more of the progress to my game. Hoping to have a new test build ready by the end of the month!
The bulk of the work on the 3D part of the Theme Park level of my game is nearing completion. Currently adding shrubs, grass and other such details.
It's taken a really long time, as a bunch of stuff had to be redone.
A tiny preview of this mushroom house in my game. The ground and trees/shrubs are still being worked on! It's starting to take shape now, though.
Not quite ready to show more of this northern area yet, though I can show you this cursed vending machine I spontaniously added.
And the new chainlink fence texture! (The placements still need adjusting)
This especially looked bad in the north part of the park (an area still lacking a lot of details at the time of this screenshot):
One thing I was able to get done this month is some improvements to the fog in the park.
There's some definition between different details in the distance now.
Before everything faded out into the same lavander colour, which looked a little too flat and empty.
The models and textures for the buildings in the theme park area are now complete.
It's taken quite a while (and a lot of work)!
Next week work can continue on the ground textures and walls/fences.
Manny's mushroom house is almost done. Will put the finishing touches on it tomorrow.
