I don't know where I'm gonna be taking my art from here, but, on top of the Fear and Hunger posing, the character designs from Final Fantasy Tactics and Oban Star Racers are inspiring me somewhat.
And it's not just the lack of noses.

I stopped while writing all this and started thinking real hard for a minute about the "ego death" part of this. I started thinking back to some of my older pieces, the ones that were so wildly different from what I usually draw. The ones I sometimes consider to be my best pieces

I don't know what I'll need to do to get out of this slump and get back to wanting to draw, but I get the feeling it's gonna be experimentation and moving forward with my art.

And there's something about thr weirdly off posing of the Fear and Hunger 2 art that's drawing me in...
