As a golem ages, one's main concern is the potential corrupting of their brain crystal- though preventative maintenance keeps that at bay.

The other is their mental state- the progression of time, witnessing the passing of generations... it weighs heavily on one's mind.

A whole lot of Almond's character (and Athena, and Metal Fighter) wouldn't have existed if somebody on Tumblr hadn't asked me to draw her building a robot...
