To those of you who've been following our #dnd campaign illustrations, I apologize there haven't been any recent updates. 🙇‍♂️
Since our ActualPlay series took off, I've been working hard on illustrating much earlier bits of the tale of The Best Available, as needed for the vids😄

@antodemico 100% agreed about the tired ol' trope of the Lawful Annoying stick-in-the-mud. But I resent the "basic" remark about Oath of Devotion😂
It's been tremendous fun playing an upstart OoD paladin, navigating complex moral decisions while only just starting to find her way.

In hindsight I should have left the brick grey, as it's technically a lump of smelted metals...

But an actual raw brick on a rope felt ridiculously badass when I was drawing this panel so I went with this instead... People still got the reference :)

I wonder if I interpreted him right :D

@MisterCrowbar @Tkacz_art I just love exploiting that contrast of warm and cold. I feel like it's a bit of a cheap trick but hey, it works... 😁

@Tkacz_art Just cold colors, or actually cold *scenes*? Problem is, I usually like to counter the cold tonality with a bit warm light here and there...😅

Can't wait for our ActualPlay to catch up with this!

Apologies for re-using the same doodle again... I've been both very sick with RSV, and very busy with artwork for our D&D ActualPlay series on Youtube.

We're also halfway through the month which means I really need to get started on the next TFtT. 😅
