So this is Solarstorm, he is a storm and light dragon mix.

He is the direct descendent of the last King of the Storm Dragons, but he will never rule like his ancestor did because the kingdom was destroyed by that very same ancestor :/

Painted Rayne with the effects turned off and I thought is looked neat

At first it was just a sketch-
Then "Why don't I colour it in?"
Then "Why don't I shade it?"
Then "why don't you try a more painted style with that new shading style you are trying out?"

So this ended up taking a lot longer than it was meant to

So this is probably my favourite dragon head I've recently doodled.
I tried to give it a more painty sort of shading I have been experimenting with and I really enjoyed the process and I'm really happy with how it turned out!
