@Tenvert It's really different for every artist. I looked at bunch of anime concepts and some do shading, others don't. But key thing is easy to read design.

@drcockula Jam Kuradoberi from Guilty Gear is same archetype - female fighter with chinese inspired outfit. But she is also work at restaurant.
Design wise isn't really there, but general feel and food is kinda on point.
