Finally giving an ugly OC a passable makeover feels so darn GOOD.

Actually wanted to draw reference sheets tonight, but my low anatomy skills made me switch to chibi/cartoony doodling with my two chaots (who are musically just as successful as I am with drawing).
Only to discover, that guitar anatomy is even harder to draw.

And there it is! Redraw of an artwork I already wanted to have the skill for back in 2014, but only barely had. Still far from perfect, but I‘m relatively happy how it turned out, especially compared to the old version. Younger me would probably love this.

I love Rough with purple hair so much. I think I actually considered giving him purple hair back when I first designed him, but my low skills in creating nice colorshemes always ruined my attempts.
But I have plans of still making it a canon part of his design in his future 👀

Me? Planning on doing some proper artwork with my boys again? Looks like it!

Not used to spending an hour on a sketch anymore. Should definitely get warm with it again, I‘m missing quality in my art so bad :‘D
