Back on the prompt train! Here’s an ocean perch. It’s also know as the rose fish, due to its lovely pink hue. #SundayFishSketch #Arctic
Being busy with work and family life makes me ‘petrified’ that I’ll never be able to go SCUBA diving abroad again, where I might catch a glimpse of this Caribbean reef squid. 🦑 😱 🤿 #SundayFishSketch #Squidtember
Oh heck yes it’s #invert week with #SundayFishSketch ! Diamondback squid here. Their pointy red shape reminds me of gnomes.
@Dr_Meming @OpenAcademics @AcademicChatter Who else thought (as an undergrad) that if they went into academia, publishing would be easy and everyone would love to read your work? WE WERE SO INNOCENT BACK THEN
@portfolioday #PortfolioDay My name’s Kris, and I draw to help myself better understand different things—as well as unwind! I’ve never gotten a request for art, and tbh, I’m pretty busy with work. HMU at my Insta at drkveeveesketch. #SundayFishSketch is a happy place too :).
Cookie cutter sharks have a cute name, but in between being deep sea fish and sharks (and looking weird as heck), I wouldn’t eat one! #SundayFishSketch
Need something warm and cozy today for #SundayFishSketch ? Here’s the wonderfully named Flapjack Octopus! #scicomm
Today’s #SciArtSeptember theme is ‘ancient’. I drew someone in the archaeological findings from the Borum Eshøj grave, from the Nordic Bronze Age (1700–500 BC). Inspired by my experience visiting @MuseumMoesgaard while studying with @StudyAbroadDIS .
#SundayFishSketch is my attempt at a Pacific Giant Octopus. Coloring it was more fun then drawing it—especially since the models I looked at were all over the place, literally! #scicomm
