Watching Angela Bruce turn Ray Langton's head in Corrie (you can do better Deirdre) just after seeing Battlefield. She's such a great actor, it's always a treat when she pops up in something. It's a surprise that she's never had that single highly identifiable lead role. Shame.

Very sorry to hear that Tom Adams has died. He created a wealth of memorable covers, most particularly for Agatha Christie paperbacks in the 60s and 70s. Prints of two adorn our wall as they're great pieces of art. RIP.

The rather nice photos of @Markgatiss's visit to @FilmTVSolent at @solentuni have arrived. I think you can see that we had a good time, with at least one Doctor Who type publicity pose in there.
