Are there Pokémon you weren't interested in but, after a later-gen addition, unexpectedly became one of your favorite?

I didn't care much about Teddiursa/Ursaring but after discovering Ursaluna in PLA I love them a lot. The "now they're powerful/cool" feeling struck I guess

@LadScruffy Here's Kothu the draconid, he has several alter egos across several worlds (Fantasy, Modern and Sci-Fi) with similar stories and personalities yet often ends up with similar struggles and wins

That's actually how Drakothu feeds himself. I wouldn't be surprised if the nearby villages and castletowns gave up on trying to prevent him from stealing and were now expecting him to come whenever he wants...
