Back then the Vocaloid community also had some of the most adorable fan art as well. Nowadays the only time you even SEE the other Vocaloids together is through memelords carpposting.

I know I know "missing the golden age bad" but you can't deny how lively #vocaloid was

I'm not saying that they're AREN'T any good Vocaloid songs coming out anymore or that the newer stuff is all bad.

The thing is... The appeal to Vocaloid was that the people who wrote songs weren't major songwriters, they had absolutely no limits to their creativity. #Vocaloid

Vocaloid's biggest problem is that it's progressed to the point where it's become... Sterile... Hatsune #Miku doesn't feel like a character anymore, she feels like a brand (perhaps it's the absurd price tag) and it's hard to find good new songs that don't feel like part of brand
