Flocks of these tiny, pale dragons dance like confetti above the Dark Woods. Easily identified by their blue sickle-shaped wings and bifurcated tails, they roost only in the highest treetops, and never, ever venture into the forest below.

This week's #FolkloreThursday theme is the folklore of the world's scariest #monsters I’m not sure Cthulhu counts as a monster (though H.P. Lovecraft might) but it was doubtless inspired by ancient myths of Krakens. Anyway, here are some of my interpretations of the Great Dreamer
