As the icy spell continues to chill the UK, badgers are mostly cosied up in their setts as they are less active when it's cold. @BadgerTrust says many #badger setts are 1000s of yrs old. Imagine there could be a dynastic underground mansion near you!

Nicrophorus americanus or the American Burying Beetle is one of the most endangered insects on Earth. Threatened by habitat loss this critically endangered scavaging beetle is very social and can live up to 1 yr. Read more:
