for the hair, I wanted it to be a reference to megaman exe; I thought of Megaman and Lan's brotherhood, as I think of X and Axl being like brothers. Also it's in the shape of an x
since both X an Axl share a strong sense of justice, I think AX would be just a good boy I guess 😆

For X and Zero's fusion, it's the one I've worked on the longest, I had another 2 versions and I'm currently very content with the newest one ^_^
it's inspired on Omega's second form from Megaman Zero 3, the one with a half representing Zero and the other representing X--
