The reference for the drawing was this statue of Hermes. I would have drawn the caduceus in his hand, but official splash art only has one or no weapons with the legend, and Hermes is definitely a battle boots first, spear second kinda guy

Drawing the face and hair was an interesting challenge. Every time I drew the face, it looked just a little off. The version at the end was still edited a bit from the final drawing, but it was always meant to be a reference

Sketch, lineart, and color. He looks interesting in a marble tone, maybe I should make a skin out of that concept

Hermes, Messenger of the Gods, Son of Zeus, and like, the fastest thing ever, man.

Equipped with armored boots and his caduceus, he's ready to sprint into battle!

Making 3D models from 2D requires assumptions over the design of stuff, probably even a few that are not really noticed unless you look really closely. I had gone online trying to find good reference images...four images plus an obscure YouTube video that had the default Jaeyun.
