Happy Spring break y'all. Awww. Can I say, meanwhile, how cute it is to see so many posting re spring break (responsibly distancing and masking) and seeing their kids walk oceans, mountains, ski valleys, great lakes, walk in nature, visit oceans. Next year will be even better. 💛

I started reading a book of love letters between Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz. She was such an interesting woman. Brilliant in ways, different. New Mexico helped save her life. Stieglitz and O'Keefe meanwhile wrote each other back & forth for 31 years. Love her flowers.

Jean-Michel Basquiat, b. Dec 22, 1960 –1988 was an American artist of Haitian and Puerto Rican descent. At 22, he was the youngest to exhibit at the Whitney Biennial in New York. The Whitney Museum of American Art held a retrospective of his art in 1992.
