Was the founder of the Safavid Dynasty, ruling as its King of Kings (shahanshah) from 1501 to 1524. Responsible for reuniting Persia under an iranian dynasty after centuries of arab, turkic and mongol rule, turning Iran into one of the Gunpowder Empires.
