With the holidays on the horizon, so does a kind of quiet with the upcoming winter, and I'm expanding my reading list. What's your favorite fantasy comic with great worldbuilding? Two of my favorites in recent times is Monstress and Saga.
One good source of non-Western fantasy inspiration is Mushishi. Its manga (1999) and anime adaptation (2005) delve into a world that contains mushi, a form of life more primitive than flora or fauna. Each episodes introduces a new mushi, and the way they interact with humans.

If you're looking for a different kind of adventure, one aimed more towards emotional storytelling and engagement, I would highly recommend Eyes Unclouded from the DMs Guild. Its a definitive step away from what you would expect from published adventures, and it is absolute gold.
There's a startling amount of games that aims for storytelling in the vein of grit and grim in an attempt to elicit emotion. To go against that, here are some TTRPGs with a different approach.

Sometimes, as the storyteller of a session, my players come up with a really elaborate plan. Fully detailed, homework done, spells and specialized tools plotted out in advance.
And I have to keep a straight face as this is somehow the only time the enemy has used scry on them.
When you recreate an animal from only its skeleton, you don’t take into account any fats, muscle, or body parts not dependent on bone. As a result you get wildly different looking creatures.
And I’m all for it.
Show me the world where I fight these swans and hippos.
It doesn't take a lot of time to make a map a lot more dynamic for your games. Some lighting, some trees, some texture changes. You can turn a map of an ordinary building into something more immersive and thematic, which is the goal of any good map.
