This incredible 3.6 Å structure of the C1 microtubule, along with other associated structures, which compose the central apparatus (CA) of motile cilia have been resolved using #SingleParticle #CryoEM. CA is involved in the regulation of ciliary beating in time and space.
New in this week’s #EMDB release, is the first #CryoEM structure of apo #HSPD1 #chaperone complex at 3.5Å. Along with the single ring, #HSPD1 can also form an unusual inverted ring architecture (EMD-11189).
This ferritin based #Sarscov2 #Vaccine determined by #Cryoem #Singleparticle to 13.5Å successfully elicited neutralizing antibodies in mice after a single dose.
