#ERB's twenty-third Tarzan novel was rejected many times over during his lifetime, and do the first edition was published posthumously (Canaveral Press, 1964) with Reed Crandall's cover and interior art.

#OTD in 1925, Ulysses Paxton wrote to #ERB about his experiences on #Barsoom. Burroughs began writing THE MASTER MIND OF MARS on the same date.
