Why haven’t we heard from ET yet?

My hypothesis is that the nearest technological civilization isn’t as close as we’d like to believe. Our radio signals have only traveled ~100 light years in all directions, and the Milky Way is ~100,000 light years across.

The Radar Imager for Mars' subsurface experiment (RIMFAX) is a ground-penetrating radar on @NASAPersevere. It uses radar waves to see geologic features under the surface, and can make detections perhaps dozens of meters/yards underneath the ground.

#WereYouAware?

Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the second-largest natural satellite in the Solar System. It is the only moon known to have a dense atmosphere, and the only known body in space, other than Earth, with clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid.
