Judging by this early #SpyroAHerosTail screenshot, there was an entire room below Elder Magnus' tree house at some point during development. The screenshot file is dated 12th of May 2004.
In the demos of #SpyroAHerosTail, an inaccessible part of Dragon Village seems to be directly modelled after some of Matt Dixon's concept art.
A short #SpyroAHerosTail pre-release article from the August 2004 issue of GamePro Magazine, featuring some exclusive early screenshots. It's likely that the build used in these screenshots is identical or very similar to one of the recently released prototype builds.
A #SpyroAHerosTail concept drawing by Terry Lloyd showing an object called a "horn dive boulder", which was cut late in development. They would've contained collectibles such as Light Gems and Dragon Eggs, and are mentioned numerous times throughout the leaked design documents.
