The constant tone shifts for the Devilman manga is kind of jarring to me. Graphic violence followed by a frame of humor (sometimes unintentional because of expressions) and before you can process the context of everything, BOOM MOAR GORE.

New canon for Sketches! The "character" of Cept is just literally the face that speaks and emotes. The "body" is literally a scribble that Chiyo has doodled to provide him a physical "anchor" to inhabit their world. As her skills grow, so does Cept's forms.
People seem to really like the new lineart style that I’ve been messing with recently, but I’m hesitating on actually pursuing it for animation. I think one of my biggest fears is that the viewer will struggle to see details on the characters in motion. What are your thoughts?
I decided to go on a random idea I had and color the sketch to see the results. ...I could honestly see this working for animation both in color and lineart. Keep the bold lines I love, sketchy goodness, and make it look like a (man) child colored it with crayons on paper.
