Lately I've been on a kick with futuristic worlds that have technological analogues to monsters. Like vampires with needle teeth cyberware.

7) To learn poses/anatomy, sketch over a photo.

Credit to Kooleen and Jazza. Just having a base to draw the skeletal structure over really helped me break down the important parts of anatomy. After a good variety of references, my poses are finally starting to feel interesting.
