Initially bird could do all the things and it felt off. What's the point of being the player? The player became short range while bird could go anywhere and be long range way to explore. There are obstacles bird couldn't get past without the player's help and vice versa.
This was the keyart along with the demo I had at the time of pitching. We didn't have a name for the game yet. Called it Hawker, frayed, and switched to OLG1 (Outerloop Games 1) internally. Didn't come up with Falcon Age until about a year into dev right before our first PAX demo
for original logos I tend to do a lot more sketching and exploration in Adobe Illustrator
