For today's Obscure Comic of the Month I take a look at Sagas of the Shield Maiden by @AsaWheatley and a plethora of amazing artists, and ask the question how you tell new stories of the Viking age in an era where Viking stories are becoming oversaturated. https://t.co/QNtDIB0ByS
Sixth and final piece in my Necromunda Escher Gang Queens series is the dreaded Venomatrix. Leader of her own gang of Death Maidens, it is said that vibrations that emanate from her vocal chords can cause bleeding or deafness, and she communicates only by sign when out of combat.
"Those who rise to lead one of House Escher's underhive gangs are, without exception, skilled killers and charismatic leaders, able to inspire their girls not with empty words and promises, but bloody deeds and sheer audacity."
The forth story in my Sea of Spheres series launches today. Detectives Garrick and Cardina, on the trail of a missing scientist, learn that the cost of keeping their civilisation afloat might be far greater than they could ever conceive. Art: @MusketAnna https://t.co/9KvGvCrKtn
On a final note, about a year ago somebody contacted me online about doing a Sutekh zine. I never heard back but does anyone know if such a thing is still happening?
Remembering that time 12 years ago when I decided to draw some of Warhammer 40k's most overlooked characters.
