This was the most difficult watercolor painting I have ever created. Yesterday we buried one of the greatest men I have ever known, and I have had the honor and privilege of calling him my poppop. I miss you pop. So much 💔

Wow, I don’t even know what to say. Kazuki Takahashi was one of my biggest inspirations growing up. I loved his art, storytelling, and the characters he created for Yu-Gi-Oh. In grade school I used to read the manga and watch the show and wish I could (1/4)

I commissioned @Jamiebower for a poem, and he wrote a beautifully ominous narrative about “the poet” and the death of human connection through technology. I was inspired to paint an accompanying piece, “Eulogy of the Poet: In Bytes and Gigawatts.” Thank you Jamie for the poem! 🖤
