2013
My digital painting skills improved dramatically over the first year. My drawing skills not so much. I had a hard time of getting rid of the bad habits I inherited from drawing Manga that long. I hated everything I drew and had to fight hard to not give up.
2009
Still the same face problem. :D That Link character sheet was probably the first time where I actively tried to draw different face expressions. The only thing that really improved in my drawings where the colors and shading. I didn't care, because art was just a hobby.
2006
I continued what I already did the two years before. I still copied poses and had no understanding of how anatomy works at all. Basically, I drew the same two face angles over and over again. :D I also didn't sketch. Everything I drew was turned into full illustrations.
☘️~MY ART JOURNEY~ A Thread☘️

I wanted to share my artistic journey over the years and what decisions I made that brought me to the point where I am now: A professional working freelance artist. Long ass thread ahead! Make yourself a coffee/tee and enjoy!

A few Leyendecker studies from today to get back into the flow after my break. ❤️ I find his work really hard to nail down, bc he used a combination of render and lineart, and didn't wrap his strokes around the form, but went with it.
I don't have time for #Junicorn this years since I'm leaving for canada soon, but here is a throwback to some pieces from last year. ❤️
Some of the items I painted for #Humblewood and @TheDeckofMany recently. ❤️
